Europe’s construction sector set to return to growth in 2026

The European Union’s (EU) construction sector will see production increase by 1.5% in 2026, as it finally exits a prolonged slump.

That’s the forecast from Dutch bank ING, which has noted that “more positive signals are popping up” after a 1.5% drop in output in 2024 and zero growth in 2025.
