European Rental Week: ‘a true celebration of rental’

Once again this year, ERA brought Europe’s rental industry together during European Rental Week 2025 (13–19 October).

Our main message was clear: the future of equipment rental depends on people. Everything matters, starting with their skills, their focus on safety, and their commitment to sustainability.

This year’s theme was ‘Building skills for the future’. The campaign encouraged companies and associations to showcase how they invest in talent and innovation. Major industry players and national rental associations actively joined the conversation, sharing their activities to advance the sector.

The week also highlighted the rental sector’s growing yet consistent contribution to Europe’s green transition. Across Europe, participants showcased how advanced equipment, smarter logistics, and skilled professionals are reducing emissions and improving resource efficiency.

Adding on, ERA Secretary General Carole Bachmann represented the association at the Assodimi congress in Italy, where she provided an overview of the European rental market.

The discussion was timely as the industry came together to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration
