The European Rental Association Convention has offically been opened in Dublin, Ireland, this afternoon by Stéphane Henon, president-elect, ERA.

The show, which runs from the 4 to 5 of June, will see leading voices from the European rental industry attend over the next two days.

The Convention returns amidst a backdrop of a number of critical issues in Europe’s rental sector, most notably the energy transition, tariffs and economic headwinds.

A packed programme throughout the course of the event will explore the theme of ‘Navigating Transitions in Rental,’ highlighting how businesses can adapt to regulatory changes, ‎evolving customer demands and the push toward greener solutions

This year features a three-part plenary session, which once again takes place alongside several workshops.

Meanwhile, the European Rental Awards, which is jointly organised by the European Rental Association and International Rental News, will also be held this evening.

There are a number of awards up for grabs, inlcuding Rental Product of the Year, Large Rental Company of the Year and ERA Sustainability Committee Award: best sustainability initiative by a rental company.

A new Rental Technology of the Year has also been added for 2025.
