Elite acquires in the US Mid-Atlantic region

Elite Equipment Rentals has acquired distribution and rental company ISG in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US.

The acquisition of ISG, which is formed of ISG Inc and ISG Rents, marks a significant step in Elite’s continued national expansion, it said, strengthening its geographic footprint and enhancing its ability to serve customers with greater speed and localised support.

ISG, a provider of hydro excavation trucks and ancillary equipment to industrial, utility, construction, and municipal service companies, is owned by private equity firm Wincove Private Holdings, which made the acquisition supported by investments from Ironwood Capital.

With ISG’s strong regional presence, built over more than 40 years of service to municipalities and contractors across Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and beyond, Elite will expand both its rental and parts and service capabilities across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast markets.

ISG will continue to operate under its existing brand in the near term, with plans to integrate into the Elite platform over time, which said the company will ensures continuity for customers and employees while enabling long-term growth.
