Eisenberg re-joins Smart Platforms

By Murray Pollok12 April 2022

UK vehicle mounted access rental company Smart Platforms has appointed Jeff Eisenberg as a non-executive Director. The appointments means that he is returning the business that he helped create 20 years ago.

Eisenberg co-founded the company in 2002 with two of the current Directors, Andy Burt and Chris Searle. In his new role, he will provide expertise in asset finance and strategic financial planning to assist with the company’s growth.

The appointment comes as the company invests significant amounts in hybrid technology. It has placed a multi-unit order with Multitel for its MT182 EX on 3.5 tonne Iveco carriers and with CPL Klubb for its 3.5 tonne Renault Master mounted K38p Green Pack Technology.

The MT182 EX is an 18.2 m working height model with maximum horizontal outreach of 13.2 m. The Klubb van (pictured here) offers 13.8 m working height and maximum outreach of 6.5 m and 8.0 m with safe working load of 120 kg and 200 kg, respectively.

Smart Platforms invested £3 million in 2021 and a further £3.5 million is committed for 2022.
