Echo Barrier launches new silent structure

19 October 2014

Manufacturer Echo Barrier has introduced its latest noise reduction product – the H20 acoustic enclosure.

It said the H20 was a lightweight and flexible temporary structure, which could be installed in 15 minutes and provides an instant resolution to inconvenient site noise.

The acoustic enclosure is said to offer sound reductions in all directions and, when used internally, stop noise from bouncing off ceilings and affecting the rest of the building.

According to Echo Barrier, the roof and walls of the enclosure contained high performance acoustic material, which has been lab tested to reduce noise by up to 32dB. In the field, the enclosure has reached noise reductions of 10-20dB.

The manufacturer added that the components of the frame folded in half to enable ease of storage and transportation, and the user could remove sections of the wall to enable increased ventilation where required.

The enclosure could also be branded with the corporate identity of the organisation using it.
