UK access equipment rental firm Easi UpLifts has purchased a new truck and trailer to assist in transporting its range of tracked platforms to and from client sites.

The company has purchased a 7-tonne Iveco truck from North East Truck and Van in Billingham and a Veldhuizen trailer, both for use by its Specialised Division.

The Veldhuizen trailer has been designed to allow for quick and easy loading operations, while its lightweight design allows greater payload and fuel efficiency, said the manufacturer.

David O’ Keeffe, Easi UpLifts transport manager, said, “This will allow us to deliver a high bulk but low weight product such as our tracked platforms anywhere in the UK cost effectively. We are always looking to transport machines more cost effectively and this is one way we feel will be of benefit to us.”

Easi UpLifts’ Specialised Division operates from its London and Manchester depots, providing tracked and truck-mounted platforms.
