The new facilities at Kempten, for which it recently held a opening ceremony at which customers could see Doosan equipment on display, will stock some of the company’s 1,500 rental machines and has an integrated training centre.

A demonstration area, complete with construction site conditions, will also give customers the opportunity to try equipment.

BAU Süddeutsche has seven branches in Germany and Austria and provides sales and rental services to construction contractors in the south of the country.

Christoph Karrer, a Managing Partner at BAU Süddeutsche Baumaschinen, said, “With the significant investment in this new facility, we are underscoring our ties to the region and are confident that we can offer our customers an even better service.”

Spanning an area of 15,000m2, the Kempten branch also now includes an administrative building, a 650m2 workshop with warehousing for spare parts, a construction shop and facilities for rental customers.

Markus Schweers, Regional Sales Manager at Doosan Infracore Europe, said, “We at Doosan congratulate our dealer, Süddeutsche Baumaschinen, on another milestone in the company’s history and are certain that Christoph Karrer and his team will continue on their successful path.”
