Develon and Engcon partner on new excavators

The deal will see the 23 ton DX230LC-9 and 26 ton DX260LC-9 models, launched at Bauma in April, be made available tiltrotator-ready from the factory.

According to Engcon, the collaboration means the machines will be delivered prepared for straightforward and time-efficient installation of its DC3 tiltrotators.

It said the solution supports both sandwich and direct-mounted DC3 models, while remaining fully compatible with Develon’s 2D machine guidance systems and aftermarket 3D machine control systems.

For rental companies, the development offers added fleet flexibility, with tiltrotator-ready machines enabling rapid installation or interchange of tiltrotators as required.

End users renting these excavators will gain immediate access to tiltrotator functionality, supporting higher productivity and efficiency from the outset.
