Custom Truck One Source acquires in Louisiana

Utility equipment rental and sales company Custom Truck One Source has acquired SOS Fleet Services, a US-based full-service repair facility.

Founded in 2018, SOS Fleet Services provides fleet maintenance solutions and parts from its depot in Alexandria, Louisiana.

The acquisition adds over 30,000 square feet of space and will see the SOS staff join Custom One.

Custom One said the deal will enhance its service footprint in the region, while also allowing it to offer the full range of its rental product offering, as well as repair service, to customers in the Alexandria area.

The acquisition comes after recent announcements of planned branch openings in Casa Grande, AZ, Sacramento, CA and Salt Lake City, UT, that are set to open this year.

The openings, alongside the purchase of SOS, increases Custom Truck’s US footprint to 39 locations, from its previous 35.
