CTE introduces 20m electric truck mount

The Italian company began the project to produce the 100% electric CTE MP 20 Ev truck mount a year ago, to offer another option in the popular 20m height range.

The project is based on a partnership between CTE and Italy-based electric vehicle manufacturer Green-G Electric Vehicles, with its zero-emission commercial vehicle, the ecarry.

The model will also be unveiled at CTE’s booth at Bauma next week, 24-30 October.

CTE sales and marketing director Marco Govoni said, “This agreement is the natural consequence of our green vision of the future. We chose ecarry and Green-G Electric Vehicles because it is a vehicle entirely designed and manufactured in Italy and we believe in the value of Italian excellence.”

With measurements of 1598mm width, 5200mm length and 1965mm height, and a 3500kg GVW, the ecarry is the most advanced vehicle of its category, claims the vehicle manufacturer. Specifications of the platform also include a 13m outreach and 250kg capacity, as well as a telescopic boom, plus jib, using SSAB steel.

There is a ground control console with wireless remote and integrated display for wire-free operations, as well as the basket display with the same features, including integrated display, for easy familiarisation. The unit comes equipped with CTE’s S3 EVO control system.

The vehicle’s range is up to 70 km (WLTP) and an average 25 work cycles and it is possible to work using entirely the battery or in plugged-in mode, where the machine is connected to 220V/380V mains electricity supply.

Companies that effectively operate in Italian cities and carry out activities with repetitive, constant itineraries and with numerous starts and stops, such as urban hygiene, city logistics.”

For world premiere launch of the CTE MP 20 Ev, on 5 October took place in front of the Italian access sector and local officials, including the vice president of the Province of Verona, David Di Michele’ the mayor of Villafranca Roberto Dall’Oca; the vice president of Small Industry (Confindustria Veneto) Cinzia La Rosa and Municipality of Padua councilor Diego Bonavina.
