Cramo and Yanmar in supply agreement

03 March 2016

Finnish rental company Cramo has signed an agreement to invest in 800 to 1000 Yanmar compact excavators over two years.

Cramo said it had made this choice after several months of tests of the main manufacturers’ products.

“Finding and selecting the right partner to fit Cramo Group’s development strategy is always a challenge,” said Klāvs Otisons, CE product area and sourcing manager for Cramo Group Fleet Management.

“Yanmar has been our supplier for already couple of years, but with this settlement we feel comfortable to be able to offer our customers products and services in even better quality.”

Jean-Marc Reynaud, president of Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe, added, “We are very pleased with this choice that allows us to support the European development of Cramo. This decision reinforces us in our strategy to focus our efforts on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership.”

Cramo operates in fifteen countries with 330 depots.
