ConExpo 2023: Everything you to need to know

In just a few short weeks, the 2023 ConExpo-Con/Agg trade show will take place in Las Vegas, US.

As one of the biggest construction industry events in the world, it’s needless to say that the both the event grounds – and the city itself, will be incredibly busy.

So, we’ve gathered together the most useful event information to help visitors get around the show as easily as possible.

Flying into Vegas

McCarran International Airport is the primary commercial airport serving the Las Vegas Valley. It is about five miles (8 km) south of downtown Las Vegas. More information about travel and hotels can be found here.

Getting to and from ConExpo

Once you are in Las Vegas, there are several ways to get to the show, including a number of travel options recommended by the event organisers, including complimentary hotel and parking lot shuttle services.

Hotel Shuttle Service – Booking your room through the show hotel block gives you access to free shuttle service. The shuttle service is available between the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Festival Grounds, and all official show hotels that are not within walking distance. Shuttles will operate during peak hours on official show days, March 14-18. Download the route schedule here.

Monorail – The Las Vegas Monorail has three stops near the show to get you closer to the hall or lot of your choice. For more information, visit: www.lvmonorail.com/route-map/

Taxi, Uber or Lyft – There will be pick-up and drop-off locations at the show to accommodate taxi and rideshare transportation. More information will be provided closer to the show.

Parking – There is limited parking near the show, and it is suggested that visitors use the hotel shuttle service, monorail, taxi or other rideshare services.

Badge collection

Once you’ve arrived in Las Vegas, one of the first things you’ll need to do is collect your visitor’s badge.

This can be done at multiple locations, including a number of hotels, the Harry Reid Airport, Las Vegas Monorail stations and at the showground itself.

How to get around ConExpo

There several onsite transport options available to help visitors get around the various show areas. 

Loop Shuttle – Minibuses at the Las Vegas Convention Center will continuously loop the site, stopping at the North, Central, and South Halls.

Express Shuttles – Multiple express minibus shuttles will help you get to each facility, including to and from Festival Lot to West Hall, Diamond Lot, North Hall, and Blue Lot.

Golf Cart Service – Golf carts will be scattered all around the show. Keep an eye out for them and if seats are available, just hop on and off.

Tesla Loop – The underground system provides free and fast transport to three stops at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A map of the stops is available on the ConExpo website.

Monorail – The Las Vegas Monorail has three stops near the show to get you closer to the hall or lot of your choice. For more information, visit: www.lvmonorail.com/route-map/

Information stands and amenities at ConExpo

As well as information stands and food courts, other amenities such as first aid and mother and baby facilities are dotted around the showgrounds
