Case re-enters heavy graders market with Bell agreement

Case Construction is to offer three graders in the 200hp plus sizes in North America through an agreement with South Africa-based manufacturer Bell Equipment.

The GR Series graders, which will complement Case’s existing graders, mean that it can offer a full range “designed to give crews more muscle on tough jobs like heavy road work, snow removal or site prep on big jobsites.”

Under the agreement – which was announced on the opening day of ConExpo-Con/Agg - CNH’s Case Construction Equipment brand will have exclusive distribution across the US and Canada for the graders. The machines are manufactured at Bell facilities in South Africa.

Case said the deal will strengthen its presence with customers in the heavy size classes, with machines designed for road construction, precision grading, maintenance work and government applications.

On show on the Case booth was the largest of the three, the 325hp GR935. The first deliveries are expected in the final quarter of 2026.

“This agreement positions Case to drive growth in the North American market, particularly in the government sector, where we have had a gap in our current grader size class,” said Humayun Chishti, Construction president at CNH Industrial.

Ashley Bell, CEO at Bell Equipment, added; “This collaboration is a significant step for us, allowing our motor grader products to reach North American customers under the Case brand.

“As a full-line equipment provider with a strong dealer network, Case offers a suite of complementary machines that enhance our value proposition for customers in earthmoving applications.”

The new models offer either electro-hydraulic controls or traditional mechanical control options as well as a continuous variable transmission (CVT). CNH technology and Case Advanced Smart Features will offer onboard guidance, control and GNSS navigation systems.

Bell’s own stand at ConExpo, under the name Bell Trucks America (BTA), featured a selection of its articulated dump trucks (ADTs) and a tracked carrier.
