Bobcat upgrades B730 M-Series backhoe for Middle East, Africa, and CIS

Bobcat has introduced an AutoShift transmission option and a series of cab upgrades for its B730 M-Series backhoe loader, targeting customers in the Middle East, Africa and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The B730 M-Series with AutoShift is being offered as a separate model. Bobcat said the transmission functionality mirrors that used in its B730 R-Series machine and is designed to optimise gear changes during travel operations.
The system automatically adjusts gearing based on vehicle speed, load and terrain conditions. According to the company, this is intended to improve fuel efficiency, reduce operator fatigue and support consistent machine performance.
Alongside the transmission update, Bobcat has introduced a number of comfort-focused enhancements to the B730 M-Series, following feedback from dealers and customers.
From March 2026, tinted cab windows will be available to improve thermal comfort and reduce direct sunlight. The company has also revised the fit and finish of the operator environment and increased the door opening angle to improve access to the cab.
In addition, a unified Bobcat common key system is now standard on the model, aligning it with other equipment in the manufacturer’s portfolio to support fleet compatibility and simplify key management.
