The Kubota engine in Bobcat's new T320 gives the 4401 kg compact tracked loader 67.6 kW of power, 18% more than in the smaller T300. The 1461 kg lift capacity machine is the biggest in the company's five-model range and has the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class, said Bobcat.

Although Bobcat says the additional power of the T320 "...enables operators to push more, dig more and grade more", users wanting greater production from attachments will welcome the 11% boost in hydraulic power of the machine. Its standard hydraulics system produces 80.2 l/min of flow, and a 140.1 l/min upgrade is optional.

The T320 has a maximum lift height of 3261 mm and reach of 899 mm. Overall dimensions are 2055 mm high, 1981 mm wide, and 3630 mm long, with bucket. Its top speed is 10.6 km/hr.

The loader's V3800-Dl-T engine is transversely mounted, which allows servicing from one side. Idler wheels and rollers are permanently lubricated, and the addition of grease to the tensioning cylinder automatically adjusts track tension.

Rubber tracks of 450 mm width convert the machine's weight into a ground loading of 0.029 kPa, and customers can choose Bobcat's new, all-steel roller suspension system undercarriage as an option. The feature, said the company, improves performance, durability, and operator comfort.

Other options include the Power Bob-tach system for attachments and all of Bobcat's currently-available control options, including advanced hand control, advanced control system, and the selectable joystick control systems. Also an option is a "deluxe" control panel, which includes a keyless-start security system, lockouts, a digital engine hour clock, a multi-language display, and a "help" menu.
