Big order of site dumpers by Rocket Rentals

UK rental company Rocket Rentals has taken delivery of 40 JCB site dumpers in a £1.5 million deal. It means that Rocket has invested £4.5 million in JCB machines this year, including 55 excavators, telehandlers and compaction rollers.

The dumpers, which were supplied by dealer Holt JCB, comprise 3T-2, 6T-2 and 9T-2 models in open and cabbed versions.

Simon Tomblin, managing director of Rocket Rentals, said; “We’ve been running JCB site dumpers for a number of years and with the upturn in work towards the end of last year and continuing into 2026, we decided to further strengthen the fleet with more machines.”

The machines come with added cameras for the operators and air conditioning in the cabbed versions.

The company bought the machines from Holt JCB with support from JCB Finance and JCB Insurance.

Rocket Rentals was founded in 2003 and operates from five locations in south west England.

Its fleet includes excavators from 1 to 25 tonne, aerial platforms, tools, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, bowsers and generators.
