BESS specialist Allye Energy signs European sales agreement

Allye Energy, the battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturer, has agreed a three-year sales and service distribution agreement with Vital Power Group.

Allye said the deal would accelerate its expansion by leveraging Vital Power’s relationships in construction, power rental and equipment manufacturing sectors. Vital will also provide field support for Allye’s products in the UK and Europe.

The agreement gives Vital Power exclusive distribution rights in construction, equipment manufacturing and power rental sectors in the UK and EU, as well as non-exclusive global rights.

“VPG’s established relationships across construction, power rental, and equipment sectors provide immediate access to customers actively seeking alternatives to diesel generators and solutions to grid constraints.”

McNeil added that businesses switching to clean power and depending on battery storage for critical operations needed “both strong commercial partnerships and absolute confidence in the support behind the technology.”

He said Allye’s remote diagnostics and over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities, combined with its field service network and customer relationships, “create an unprecedented value proposition that can deliver on-site response in as little as four hours.”

The agreement follows Allye Energy’s recent US$2.5m seed funding round.
