Bayernwerk, the largest power supply company in Bavaria, Germany, has taken delivery of a high voltage insulated Versalift VST-5500-MHI from Time International and Ruthmann.

Mounted on a TGM 13.290 chassis, the Versalift VST-5500-MHI features an articulated lower boom and a telescopic upper boom with insulated fiberglass section.

It boasts a maximum working height of 19.5m, an outreach of 11.7m and a bucket capacity of 2 x 130 kg.

The unit is intended for hotline work on live power lines in rough terrain conditions and is insulated up to 69 kV in compliance with ANSI 92.2 Cat. B. It has full hydraulic controls, heavy-duty radial outriggers and a customised Time Smartbox fiberglass toolbox configuration on the cassis. The material handler has a capacity of 454 kg.
