Two rental companies, Griffiths Tool Hire and Peter Hird & Sons, have purchased the first tracked platforms for their fleets, following training from Access Platform Sales (APS).

Both firms have added Hinowa lifts to their fleets after two engineers from Griffiths and four from Hird completed Hinowa operator and service engineer training at the APS training centre in Upton, Cambridgeshire.

Peter Hird & Sons purchased five Hinowa tracked access platforms, following increased customer demand. Griffiths Tool Hire purchased a Hinowa 23.12 machine for its Wrexham depot in north Wales.

Hird’s first machine went straight out on long term hire in Ireland, where the 23m Hinow, a 23.12, is working on a hospital construction. Hird also purchased two Hinowa 17.75 Lightlifts and two 14.70 Goldlift machines.

APS is the UK Hinowa dealer. The distributor is part of the IAPS Group, which describes itself as the UK’s largest independent full service distributor for aerial lifts.
