Pedro Luis Fernández, President and CEO of GAM, said; “This acquisition completes the consolidation of our commitment to the Hyster – Yale project in Iberia, thus reaching more than 70% of the market share in this territory by number of Yale machines sold.

“This represents a step forward in our growth roadmap. With the services offered by Intercarretillas and Interplatforms, we optimise the service to our customers - our reason for being - and GAM becomes a stronger leader”.

Ángel Jurado, the owner of both companies, said; “This operation implies a commitment to the future [of the business] in the hands of a group of recognised importance in the sector.

“[GAM will be] backed by our internal talent with the support and extensive knowledge we have, especially in lifting and electrical industrial machinery”.
