Altaaqa partners with AFC Energy on fuel cell gensets

Altaaqa, a specialist temporary and off-grid power provider in Saudi Arabia, and UK-based alkaline fuel cell system developer AFC Energy are to collaborate on clean energy products for various industry segments and applications.

Headquartered west of Jeddah in Al Jami`ah, Altaaqa operates a 2GW capacity mobile diesel generator rental fleet and serves customers in the oil & gas, government, mining, military, power and construction sectors.

The “long-term” partnership will utilise AFC Energy’s hydrogen fuel cell technology, which can be used for off-grid applications “as part of a portfolio approach to the decarbonisation of electricity needs”...Sign in to continue reading.
