Alta announces changes at board level

Alta Equipment Group has increased the number of members on its board with the appointment of Sidhartha Nair.

Nair, who brings more than 20 year’s experience to the role, is the current head of strategy, Americas region, for Mercedes-Benz Mobility.

He is responsible for strategic and transformation activities in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Prior to joining the company, he was a consultant for McKinsey & Company, where he developed strategic solutions addressing growth, turnaround and new market entry.

In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s digital tranformation and developing growth.

Nair added that he is “delighted to join the board” and be part of Alta’s “rapidly expanding growth.” 

“My experience should be beneficial to Alta’s diversified strategy to capitalize on the growth opportunities and cost-efficiency initiatives,” Nair said.
