Alo trains up IPAF instructors

By Euan Youdale06 June 2018

Alo Training has trained four IPAF instructors from Argentina, Chile and Panama

The Chilean training centre, which received the Powered Access Pioneer award at the 2017 International Awards for Poweerd Access, has continued its reach into surrounding markets.

During the final days of May, the four operatorsarrived at Alo’s headquarters in Santiago to take part in the IPAF training programme for International Instructors in the 3A, 3B, 1A, 1B and H categories.

Following sessions including technical and practical exercises, the four trainees successfully passed the course. “They were all great students. Not only did they show a vast and comprehensive understanding of safe aerial work, but they also exhibited clear and fluent ways of transmitting that knowledge to others,” said Tomás Herrera, senior instructor at Alo.

In its 13 years, Alo Training has established itself as the first IPAF Training centre and one of the most succesful in Latin America, qualifying 2,000 operators in 2017 and aiming to surpass this target in 2018.
