AlmaCrawler has launched a new 10-metre track mounted lift model, debuting the machine at the 2023 GIS Exhibition currently taking place in Piacenza, Italy.

The new 1090 BIBI Primo scissor lift, which was launched yesterday at a special 10th anniversary event at the company’s show stand, is described a “fully green” model.

It incorporates a full electric drive and a removable power pack, comprises lithium and AGM batteries.

According to Gianluca Ferramola, Product Manager at AlmaCrawler, the tracked model benefits from autonomous self-levelling at low speeds when the basket is fully lowered, self-levelling functionality when the basket is at heights of up to 6.5m, and a non-self levelling setting that also enables a higher travel speed of up to 4.5km/h to be use, with steering, at maximum basket height of 6.5m.

The1090 BIBI Primo also features a new open chassis that is effectively self-cleaning, as it the design allows debris to escape on its own.

Furthermore, all of the model’s components are located in the rear compartment either side of the steps, to enable easy access for servicing and maintenance tasks.
