Aggreko’s private equity owners are aiming to raise US$1.15 billion – split between dollars and euros – in an add-on to its term loan B (TLB) due in May 2031.

The funds will be used to paydown its revolving credit facility by $395 million, to add $205 million in cash, and to fund a dividend payment of $550 million.

The company said the transaction, which is expected to complete today (8 January), is expected to generate EBITDA of $120 million based on $600 million invested for growth capital expenditure in 2026.

It said the proposed dividend payment was based on the strong performance of the business.

Its revenues in the 12 months to September 2025 were $3,194 million, with adjusted EBITDA of $1,218 million.

“Increased investment in both fleet and people (including new skills and capabilities) continues to underpin our organic growth and M&A is now a proven pillar for delivering future growth”, said Aggreko’s owners.

“Recent acquisitions are performing well, and we have developed a healthy pipeline of future accretive opportunities.”
