The agreement with the company will see power generators from Aggreko supply reliable power to 134 performances in both Houston, which runs from January to March, and Toronto, which runs from April to June.

Don Gray, events, sector manager at Aggreko North America, said the company are “thrilled to partner” with Cirque du Soleil again, and it looks forward to “another exciting year” of working with the company.

Gray said, “We understand that the immersive experiences of Cirque du Soleil’s shows require no interruptions, which is why we’re happy to lend our expertise in temporary power solutions to guarantee the greatest enjoyment by audiences across North America.”

Philippe Rochette, specialist – electric & HVAC of Cirque du Soleil, added, “Aggreko has successfully provided energy supply for our international touring shows for over a decade, and we’re happy to partner with them for another year ensuring a positive experience for both our performers and the audience.”

“Our North American runs of KOOZA are cornerstones of our international touring plan and thanks to Aggreko’s reliable energy service, we’re confident that we will continue to perform knowing that our energy supply is in good hands.”

The agreement is the continuation of an 11-year partnership between the two companies, which was renewed last year and will now run until 2024.

In recent years, Scotland-headquartered Aggreko has also supplied power to several global events, including the Ryder Cup, European Championships and Tokyo Olympics
