De Clerq, who joined the company on March 1 having served as market group sales & marketing director, UK & Nordics for Otis Elevator, has spent 15 years in senior sales and marketing positions.

Wiles started her new role on March 13 and has recently held the role of head of sustainability at fuel firm OKQ8. Prior to joining OKQ8, Wiles led sustainability efforts for companies such as Tetra Pak, Elis and ÅF. Both Wiles and De Clerq will report to Johanna Persson, president and CEO of Adapteo.

Persson said, “Adapteo’s sustainability ambitions are set high, and we see a need to separate our sustainability work into its own function to accelerate our sustainability efforts even more. Our new Chief Sustainability Officer will report directly to me and play a key role to our customers, as I am convinced that our dedication to sustainable development will be a competitive advantage for Adapteo on our journey forward.

“I am glad to welcome both Jeffrey and Lina to the team who within their respective domain will add competence, leadership and drive to Adapteo’s growth journey. Our strategy and business plan emphasizes growth and exploring new business opportunities, which puts higher demands on the entire organisation.

“Jeff and Lina will be key players in our work to become the European leader within social infrastructure.”

According to Adapteo, which provides prefabricated modular building solutions in Northern Europe, the appointments have come off the back of substantial growth in revenues in the last few years and is the “next phase of its growth journey.”

The company is currently active in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Lithuania.
