A-Plant wins sixth RoSPA Gold

UK rental firm A-Plant has been awarded Gold in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2014 for the sixth year running.
Douglas McLuckie, director of risk management at A-Plant said: “It’s a fantastic achievement once again to be awarded Gold for these prestigious awards. It’s testament the high standard of our health and safety practices and recognition of A-Plant’s exceptional approach to health and safety.”
David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as A-Plant, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
The award will be presented at a ceremony to be held on 17 June at ExCeL London in conjunction with RoSPA’s Safety and Health Expo.
The RoSPA Awards, which date back 58 years, recognise commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention at work.
