Brazilian specialist equipment and aerial platform rental company Locar has announced an expansion of its fleet, with the addition of multiple products from manufacturer Genie.

Locar has added a range of Genie equipment to its fleet.

The majority of the 500 units ordered by Locar are articulated boom lifts, including the Z-45/25, Z-62/40 and Z-80/60 models.

Locar and Genie’s agreement
“Locar has selected these specific models due to the high levels of customer use and the exponential growth in the articulated platforms market for more than 24 meters,” a statement from Genie said.

Amilcar Spinetti Filho, corporate technical director of Locar, said, “Locar and Genie is an alliance that goes back more than a decade. We hope to continue strengthening our alliance as we expand our portfolio and increase the availability of quality equipment throughout our customer base.”

Deliveries of all equipment will run until mid-2022.
