LiuGong completed Herc Rentals China acquisition

Chinese equipment manufacturer LiuGong has completed the acquisition of Herc Holding’s Chinese business Herc Rentals China. It is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of LiuGong.

Herc Rentals China is based in Shanghai and began operations in July 2008. Since then, it has been serving a range of construction and industrial customers, as well as shipbuilding and mining operations, throughout central China.

LiuGong’s plans to buy the company were first announced at the start of March.
