The Gradall range of telehandlers is being rebranded JLG.

JLG Industries is to rebrand its rear-pivot steer Gradall telehandlers under the JLG name by the end of the year. The company said the rebranding represented the completion of a plan begun in 2006 when JLG sold the Gradall excavator range to the Alamo Group.

Kirsten Skyba, vice president of global marketing, JLG Industries, said the Gradall name had become an icon in the telehandler market; "We're maintaining all the finest qualities of the Gradall name and product, including the famous blue color, but will begin branding these models under the JLG name".

The same models will be built as before and JLG will continue to provide its normal after sales service to existing Gradall branded telehandlers.

The Gradall range, which is sold mainly in North America, comprises four models with maximum carrying capacities of between 6600 lb and 10000 lb (3000 kg - 4500 kg) and maximum lifting heights of 42 ft to 55 ft (12.8 m to 16.8 m).
