First Sinoboom micro scissors delivered to Ireland

Drogheda Hire & Sales in the Republic of Ireland has expanded its equipment rental fleet with the first Sinoboom 1330SE micros scissors in the country.

A division of AER Rents, Drogheda added the five new micro units as part of a fleet expansion.

Danny Dunne, general manager of Drogheda Hire & Sales, said, “We were impressed by the versatility and quality of this product following our trial process, and are pleased to expand our scissors range with this micro model.”

The Sinoboom 1330SE micro scissor model has a working height of 5.8m and features a 1.3m long deck. With a maximum capacity of 240kg, the model’s 2-person basket has an additional 0.6m extension deck that provides 100kg of capacity.

The micro units are powered by an electric DC motor drive, which comprises two 12V maintenance-free AGM batteries. According to Sinoboom, the model can be charged using a battery-specific charger in the base.
