4-Horn Trench & Shoring, a US renter of trench safety and shoring products and road plates, has opened its first branch in Florida as part of its long-term plan to operate throughout North America.

The new 9,450-square-foot facility, which is 4-Horn’s tenth US location, is located in Lakeland between Tampa and Orlando, and will give access to major markets throughout Central Florida and the I-4 corridor.

The opening expands its footprint into the Southeast market, with its other locations in Louisiana, Texas, Minnesota and Nebraska.

“Florida has been a market we’ve been eager to enter, and opening our Lakeland branch is a big step forward for our team,” said Rhett Lasserre, CEO.

“This location allows us to be closer to customers across the state and bring our experience, service mindset, and trench safety expertise to support Florida’s growing construction and industrial needs.”

The branch will offer trench shields, manhole shields, hydraulic shoring, modular boxes, sheet pile, and road plates.

“Being on the ground in Lakeland means we can show up faster, respond quicker, and build stronger relationships with our customers,” said Jason Hefner, vice president of sales.

“We’re ready to bring our proven trench safety solutions and trusted service to contractors, municipalities, and industrial partners throughout Florida.”

Operations at the new branch will be led by branch manager, Jaxson Marchand, alongside Hefner.

4-Horn Trench & Shoring is one of a number of equipment rental businesses receiving investment from private equity firm 4-Horn Investments, which was founded by Lasserre in 2016. Lasserre was a founder of National Pump & Compressor, which was sold to United Rentals in 2014.

4-Horn has invested in businesses including National Tank & Equipment, NTR Rents, 4-Horn Industrial, 4-Horn Power & HVAC and 5-Horn Traffic & Barricade.
