1Source has acquired United Mobile Heating & Cooling

US-based 1Source has acquired United Mobile Heating & Cooling (United MHC).

The acquisition, which expands 1Source Rentals geographic footprint by around 50%, marks a smilestone in enhancing its specialised climate control, power generation, and emergency response capabilities, said the company.

It enables 1Source Rentals to better serve national accounts, expands the operating footprint into the upper midwest and northeast regions of the country, answell as optimising service across the combined national footprint.

Previous United MHC owners Alex Boardman and Scott Nash will stay on as vice presidents. Critical needs

At its core, the acquisition addresses critical industry needs by offering a robust catalog of heating, cooling, dehumidifying and power generating equipment that tackles climate-related operational risks for end users, said the company. Under the deal, 1Source Rentals and United MHC will be deploying specialised HVAC and power equipment to healthcare facilities, data centres, and construction sites.

This integrated approach is set to reinforce the company’s mission of establishing 1Source Rentals as an industry leader. By leveraging United MHCs expertise in the specialised climate control market in their geographic areas of operation and combining it with national resources, the organisation said it is poised to set a new benchmark for service and delivery in the equipment rental industry.

The merger brings a wealth of specialised equipment to address a variety of environmental challenges, including managing the thermal state of a construction site or ensuring pathogen-free air in hospitals through advanced HEPA filtration and cold plasma ionization technologies, 1Source Rentals offers tailored solutions for diverse industrial needs. “The fleet alignment between both companies has provided mutually beneficial synergies – deepening the inventories across all markets where fleet overlap exists and bringing products previously not offered into new markets to increase the breadth and depth of solutions available to the combined customer base,” added the company.
