17 November 2015

Coates Hire in Australia has ordered 90 new hydraulic loader cranes from Hiab. The order is worth € 2 million (US2.2 million).

Most of the cranes are from the new T-Series launched in May. T-Series models are designed for easy mounting on pickups and light trucks, the manufacturer said.

Commenting on the sale, Ashley Lancaster, Coates Hire executive general manager fleet, said, “We lead the market and this investment will ensure we can reduce turnaround and deliver on-time in a safe manner.”

Steve Coonan, Hiab Australia national sales manager, said, “We are delighted to have received this major order in one of our key segments. The T-crane was very positively received when it was launched at the Brisbane truck show in May of this year. This important order confirms the market's interest in this innovative new product line.”

Delivery of all units will be complete by early 2016.

Coates is a leading equipment supplier in Australia, working in engineering, building construction & maintenance, mining and resources, manufacturing and other industries.
