Premium Content

Sunbelt Rentals has acquired US-based independent trench safety rental provider Falcon Shoring. No financial details of the transaction have been disclosed.

Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Falcon Shoring was founded in 2017 by its president Bret Taylor and provides rental and sales of trench safety equipment to excavation and utility professionals.

Bret Taylor, president, said, “I’m looking forward to Falcon Shoring’s future alongside Sunbelt Rentals. Their culture, resources, and expertise will elevate the company, providing excellent service to customers and many opportunities for the employees.

“I anticipate a bright future under the respected Sunbelt banner.”

The deal expands the existing portfolio of trench safety equipment for excavation and structural shoring projects offered Sunbelt Rentals, which includes structural shoring props, trench boxes, slide rail systems and road plates.

The company now has 39 locations that offer trench safety equipment across the US, including two in Oregon.

Catalyst Strategic Advisors, LLC served as the exclusive transaction advisor to Falcon Shoring Co.
