PartnerLift grows with Schmidt

Frankfurt-based aerial work platform rental company Schmidt has joined the ranks of German rental cooperative PartnerLift.

Established in 1969 Schmidt GmbH und Co, Hubarbeitsbühnenvermietung KG, specializes in large working height projects such as wind turbine and stadium maintenance.

Schmidt joined the PartnerLift rental network of companies on 1 August. Alexander Schmidt, the company’s Managing Partner, said, “We see many positive aspects in membership. Firstly, the exchange of experience among partners, but also the advantages of joint purchasing and the simplification of handling in nationwide rental.”

The company has a fleet of around 900 machines at its headquarters in Neu-Isenburg, along with locations in Besigheim-Ottmarsheim, near Stuttgart, and Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, near Mainz. “If we can’t handle requests, we’ll handle them together with the PartnerLift members in the region in the future,” added Schmidt.

Ralf Gärtner from PartnerLift, added, “For our community, it’s a truly strong signal for the future that we can welcome this large and experienced company into our ranks.”

Kai Schliephake, who forms the PartnerLift management team with Ralf Gärtner, said Schmidt ranks 20th among national rental companies. “Since the discussions with management were very positive, we look forward to future collaboration with our new member.”
