Biennial US trade show ICUEE 2013 (International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition) has sold 1 million net square feet of exhibition space with 11 months still to go. The last ICUEE didn't reach that mark until five months pre-show.

The utility industry event, which takes place October 1-3, 2013 at the Kentucky Exposition Centre (KEC) in Louisville, Kentucky, will present hands-on equipment demonstrations, where attendees can test-drive underground, at-ground and aerial equipment in job-like conditions.

"Attendees highly rate the show's exhibits, demos and education, but they also tell us an invaluable benefit of ICUEE is the opportunity to get recharged and re-energized: meet with their industry peers face-to-face and see what's new," said show director Sara Truesdale Mooney.

The show has also been ranked third among all trade shows in North America for 2011, in the annual Gold 100 ranking of exhibit space size by Trade Show Executive magazine.
