Australian rental company Kennards Hire has added to its Test & Measure product range with the addition of the AquaTest T10 Ultrasonic Leak Detector.

The company has been expanding its Test & Measure operations, and now has three specialist branches located in Sydney, Adelaide and East Brisbane.

The company said the branches served customers in the oil, gas and mining industries; as well as sewer and water mains construction; electrical data and communications and plumbing industries.

It said the new leak detector used ultrasonic wave technology to detect air pressure or fluid leak in water pipe networks outdoors and inside buildings.

“The robust construction of the Ultrasonic Leak Detector makes it ideally suited for use by maintenance crews and engineers in the plumbing, council, utilities, water management and commercial, infrastructure and residential construction industries,” explained Leo De Sousa, Branch manager of Kennards Hire Test & Measure East Brisbane.

“The noises are also shown on an automatic illuminated display incorporated in the handle, which negates the need for a separate receiver,” he added.
