The CPA Conference 2023 The CPA Conference 2023

The future of the plant-hire sector is to be explored at this years Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) Conference, the UK-based association has announced.

Taking place at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Coventry, England, the theme for the one-day event will be ‘Shaping the Future: Insights for the Plant-hire Sector’.

The CPA said the conference will cover a range of topics impacting the plant sector in the UK, including innovation, decarbonisation, digitalisation, skills, business growth, succession planning and mental health and wellbeing in the construction sector

The annual event, which takes place on November 7, will feature a number of panel discussions and will be hosted by former television presenter, newsreader and journalist Merryn Myatt. He will be joined by co-host Peter Haddock, a content, social media and PR specialist.

Brian Jones, president, CPA, said, “This will be the ninth CPA Conference we have held and we felt this year’s event should address the core issues that are of importance right now to CPA members and the wider construction industry.

“Last year’s CPA Conference theme was ‘Facing the Challenges’ and the CPA Conference 2024 has moved on to discussing how attendees can help shape the future of the industry and provide solutions. It’s gearing up to be a great event and it’s excellent that there has been so much interest in it already.”

Alongside the Conference, a number of UK-based exhibitors will also be in attendance, including Spartan Solutions, Point of Rental Software, Prolectric and MHM Group.

Tickets for the event can be booked via the CPA website.
