Denmark-based Time International has officially handed over its 20,000th Versalift van mount to street lighting component manufacturer Swarco.

Swarco is one of 12 German companies producing mountings for street lights and now has a fleet of 27 Versalifts, which it rents out from Time on a four-year arrangement.

Per Torp, CEO of Time International, presented Swarco’s latest acquisition to its managing director Raimund Scheulen at Bauma.

In total 100,000 versalift products have been sold.

Mr Torp said Time had now nearly updated its whole line with Euro 6 compliant vehicles. In addition the Light line has been upgraded from 200kg basket capacity to 300kg, while the Medium series has been upgraded from 230kg capacity to 265kg to meet customer demand.

All of the models also have upgraded controls and valve block for emergency operation has been moved from the turret to the inside of the van for added safety.
