WCTS Asia in September postponed

The World Crane and Transport Summit Asia (WCTS Asia) due to be held in Singapore on 30 September has been postponed. The event was co-located with the Singapore Crane Week, which will still take place.

The decision has been taken because of the uncertainty around international travel caused by the Covid pandemic. The Summit is a meeting place for the global crane and specialized transport community, and this was deemed unlikely to be possible in September.

The conference, organised by KHL Group and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine, was to be part of the Singapore Crane Week, organised by the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Council, the Ministry of Manpower, and the Singapore Crane Association.

The crane week is going ahead despite the postponement of WCTS Asia and will take place in the week starting 27 September 2021.

That event will include a crane safety symposium and a careers event, with details to be confirmed.

KHL is working with its partners in Singapore regarding future Crane Week events. Announcements regarding the timing of future WCTS events, in Singapore and elsewhere, will be made in due course.
