More Trime lighting towers for BML Plant Hire

BML Plant Hire’s new Trime X-ECO lighting towers have now been deployed on long-term projects.

BML Plant Hire in the UK has expanded its environmentally friendly fleet of lighting towers, with the addition of new units from Italian manufacturer Trime.

The rental company, which is based in Sussex, England, provides plant, tools and equipment to construction sites across the region in London.

It added twelve Trime X-ECO LED sets to its lighting fleet, which is comprised entirely of Trime branded units, namely the emission-free Trime X-BATTERY models and X-CHAIN sets. 

Colum Mannix a director of BML, said, “We have operated the X-ECO LED lights for many years with total customer acceptance. Therefore it was an easy decision to keep with the Trime brand exclusively.

“The quality and spread of light produced makes Trime the ideal tower light of choice for our hire customers.”

Supplied by Trime UK and now already deployed on long-term contracts, BML Plant’s new lighting units feature a diesel engine from Kubota and have four height-adjustable stabilisers.

According to Trime, the X-ECO LED’s lamps provide up to 3,800m² of illumination and “will work for up to 50000 hours without replacement”.   

Trime’s X-ECO LED model is equipped with site levels for guidance during deployment, an emergency stop button and the AMOSS safety system, which automatically lowers the mast if the unit is moved.
