The first batch of the heavy duty model will be delivered this week, with all units being delivered within three weeks.

With a weight of 510 kg and a footprint of 1192 mm x 739 mm, it is designed to fit easily into tight spaces, typically found in fit-out and renovation work.

The machine offers a ground clearance of 87 mm and cab be used for very early indoor applications on construciotn sites, when the floor is covered with debris, added the company.

Boels, wich has more than 300 depots across Europe, began assessing the Leonardo back in October last year. A spokesperson from the company said, "The Leonardo came out as the best model available when looking at its working height, outstanding traction and ground clearance among others. Therefore we feel it is the right choice to enter the growing market of low level access.”

Marina Torres, sales director at Bravi, added, ”We are extremely gratified about becoming a supplier to Boels. Our best seller, the Leonardo HD, went through a long process of enhancement, since it was launched in 1995."
